She earned her undergraduate degree in journalism, later beginning her professional career in writing at the teen magazines, Right on! and Black Beat. BeautyVirtuoSoul is her second blog venture, but her first true labor of web love, created out of a need to showcase soul music and artists who often receive little to no attention and a desire to share her passion for beauty trends and products with the blogosphere!
